At minimum, completion of an Associate degree in business administration or a related field required. 3-5 years of related work experience, including leadership and operational responsibilities. Applicant must reside in or near Lake, Mecosta, Newaygo, or Osceola counties. Travel required. Full-time.

Fremont Area Community Foundation is seeking a temporary Communications Specialist/Copywriter to support the development and implementation of written marketing and communications materials in print, digital, and social medias. Assists in development of concepts and content for newsletters, brochures, invitations, pamphlets, annual reports, speeches, press releases, news stories, fundraising materials, and digital presentations. Bachelor's degree in English, writing, or communications/marketing preferred and/or 3-5 years related work experience. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and proficiency in proofreading and editing required. Position is hourly and currently temporary part-time with the potential to transition to permanent part-time.

Fremont Area Community Foundation is a 501(c)3 charitable organization with a permanent collection of endowed funds created for and by the people of Newaygo County. It uses the income from the invested funds to make grants for a broad range of charitable projects that address community needs. The mission of the Community Foundation is to improve the quality of life in Newaygo County.
